The autumn Saturday (September 18, 2021) in the city of Kharkiv was illuminated by the Science Night Project, which was held under the patronage of Acting the mayor of the Kharkiv mayor Igor Terekhov. Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport presented the latest technologies, projects and developments of scientists.

The Department of Research and Design of Railways, Geodesy and Land Management presented a master class “Geographic Information Technologies and BIM Design of Railways”. Our reliable partners are SPE LLC “Navigation and Geodetic Center”. The organization and holding of joint scientific events, joint use of modern high-tech geodetic equipment is the key to success and implementation of the basic principles of innovative economy.

On May 28, 2021, representatives of the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport participated in a round table with the National Northern University (Yinchuan, China) and KhNUMG named after OM Beketov on “Development of cooperation between Chinese and Ukrainian partners in education, science, practical activities “.
The key areas of the round table were issues of educational, scientific and practical cooperation, as well as the Establishment of the International Association for Sustainable Development of Regions.
The round table was joined by speakers: Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Serhiy Panchenko, Rector of UkrDUZT, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Yevheniya Uhnenko, Head of the Department of Search and Design of Railways, Geodesy and Land Management associate professor, head of TsZYAVO Vladislav Panchenko.
The rector described the work of the university, outlined the main scientific directions, described the international activity and further directions of perspective cooperation.
Vladyslav Panchenko acquainted the participants with the scientific potential of UkrDUZT and identified possible areas of cooperation in this area.
Yevhenia Uhnenko reported on the use of geographic information systems in the design of communication routes using laser scanning. The report noted that interest in geographic information systems and geographic information technologies is growing due to effective solutions in the field of research and design of roads. Modern geographic information systems provide digital tools for the organization of spatial data, process modeling, visualization of projects for the reconstruction of roads.
The parties agreed to sign an agreement on cooperation between the universities.
