Education:

In 1994, graduated from Kharkiv State Academy of Railway Transport majoring in Railway Construction, Railway Track, and Track Facilities.

Ph.D. in Engineering Science since 2000. He defended his Ph.D. thesis at the specialized scientific board D 64.820.02 in specialty 05.23.01 – Building Constructions, Buildings, and Structures. The subject of the thesis was “Load-bearing capacity of rectangular steel-concrete beams reinforced with a steel trussing rod”. His research advisor was D.Sc. (Tech), Professor E. Chykhladze.

Doctor of Engineering Science since 2016. He defended his doctoral thesis at the specialized scientific board D 64.820.02 in specialty 05.23.01 – Building Constructions, Buildings, and Structures. The subject of the thesis was “Structural analysis and design of composite and steel and concrete constructions”. His research advisor was D.Sc. (Tech), Professor E. Chykhladze.

Scientific activity direction:

Optimal design of steel-concrete and composite structures, calculations under force, and thermal impact.

Full member of the Transport Academy of Ukraine and Building Academy of Ukraine.

Chairman of the specialized scientific board D 64.820.02; Member of the specialized scientific board D 64.707.01 at the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine; Expert of the section of the Scientific board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the professional field “Aircraft and Space Engineering and Transport”; Certified leading expert in engineering surveys of buildings and constructions; Member of the technical committee of standardization TC 293 “Railway infrastructure”; Head of the Transport Construction Diagnosis Centre; Member of the editorial board of “Collected scientific works of UkrSURT”; Member of the editorial board of “Railway transport of Ukraine”; Member of the editorial board of Collected scientific works of “Emergency Situations: Prevention and Liquidation”; Member of the editorial board of “Civil and Environmental Engineering”.

For his research achievements, in 2005 he received a G. Proskura scholarship from Kharkiv Regional State Administration (technical science) and was awarded the diploma in the category “Young Scientist” in the Regional Competition “Higher Education in Kharkiv Region – Best Names”. From 1998 to 1999 he was a grant-aided engineer at Emch+Berger, Bern, Switzerland, within the cooperation program with the Swiss Academy of Technical Sciences (The Branco Weiss Fellowship, Switzerland).

180 scientific publications and teaching materials. Obtained 20 patents. The research advisor of 5 PhDs.
