On October 29, 2024, an online meeting was held with Inessa Olehivna PLATONOVA – PhD, Diya.Business expert on export and business scaling, Founder of PLASKE Academy, Vice-President of ICC UKRAINE, Vice-President of FIATA (2021-2023). More than 15 years of experience in foreign exchange and logistics. Supply chain management (SCM) and international marketing consultant. Ms. Innes gave a lecture on the use of FIATA documents to manage international supply chains.
The lecture was attended by about 53 listeners, in particular teachers, students of the bachelor’s and master’s levels of education of the educational and professional program “Organization of international transportation” of the UPR faculty of UkrDUZT. The organizer and moderator of the meeting was the Odesa Maritime National University, which together with the Personnel Center of Maritime Business and Personnel Logistics “TTS HUB” within the framework of the international social and educational project “Thematic lectures and master classes from transport business practitioners” for participants in the educational process of transport higher education institutions of Ukraine.
Students and teachers got acquainted with the forms of FIATA documents and their features of application, studied the schemes of international supply chains and document circulation. The acquired knowledge allowed students to acquire additional skills for the organization of international transportation.

On October 16, 2024, an online meeting was held with Victoria Skidan, Head of Marketing at Inter Trans Logistics, who held a master class on time management based on her experience working in a logistics company. This meeting was organized as part of the socio-educational project “Thematic Lectures and Master Classes from Transport Business Practitioners”. The organizer and moderator of the meeting was the Odessa Maritime National University, which, together with the Personnel Center for Maritime Business and Personnel Logistics “TTS HUB”, organized a master class on time management.
The meeting was attended by more than 65 people from four higher education institutions, including applicants for the educational program “Organization of International Transportation” of the first (bachelor’s) level and the second (master’s) level.
The master class was devoted to the question of how to make your work as international logisticians as effective as possible and be able to correctly distribute working time and rest time. Useful tips were provided on the process of planning and controlling time for specific activities. Using interactive online quizzes, all applicants tried to time their day and find out ways to improve the distribution of their own time for completing production tasks. The speaker shared useful tips on the need to plan work for the day, week, month, as well as using the “Pomodoro” principle. This technique involves increasing work efficiency with less time spent due to deep concentration and short breaks. The classic technique involves 25 minutes to complete 1 task and a 5-minute break.In addition, applicants were introduced to the web service “Todoist” – a set of software for task management. We learned that tasks can contain notes with files of any type, in addition, they can be placed in projects, sorted by filters, assigned labels, edited and exported. Since “Todoist” supports 13 computer and mobile platforms, the use of this web service can greatly facilitate time planning and, therefore, its effective use.
The students’ feedback showed a significant interest in such activities, emphasizing their positive impact on the quality of education. Such activities not only deepen students’ knowledge and skills, but also help reduce stress and increase motivation, demonstrating that renowned experts are willing to share their experiences with students.

Students, teachers and guarantors of educational programs of the UER department of the Faculty of Transportation Process Management of UkrDUZT within the educational process of the bachelor’s and master’s levels of educational programs “Organization of international transportation” specialty 275.02 – Transport technologies listened to online lectures of leading specialists and stakeholders of transport universities of Ukraine within the educational and scientific project “SYNERGY OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OF TRANSPORT BUSINESS AND LOGISTICS.”

This project is an excellent initiative of four transport institutions of higher education (HEIs) of Ukraine within the framework of cooperation between them.
Transport higher education institutions of Ukraine, which represent various types of transport and prepare students of higher education in the specialty 275 “Transport technologies (by types)”, in the specializations 275.01 (on sea and river transport), 275.02 (on railway transport), 275.03 (on road transport) IT IS OFFERED to listen to online lectures on individual professional educational components.

For the first time in the history of transport education, 15 lectures from the leading teachers and stakeholders of the four leading transport higher education institutions of Ukraine were held for about 800 students on the specialty 275 – transport technologies!

OPEN LECTURE ON THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION OF THE RAILWAY SYSTEM OF UKRAINE FOR STUDENTS OF TRANSPORT HIGH SCHOOLS

The countdown to the second year of the large-scale war has ended, but free Ukrainian transport education continues to develop and improve. Collaborations, interactions and exchange of experience of different universities only improve the level of education!

On May 11, 2023, as part of the educational and scientific project “Synergy of knowledge and experience in the field of transport business and logistics” for students, teachers and guarantors of educational programs of four leading transport universities of Ukraine, a lecture on the topic “Principles of operation of the railway system of Ukraine” was held. Lecturer, leading specialist in the operation of railway systems Andrii Prokhorchenko – Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor, full member of the Transport Academy of Ukraine, guarantor of the educational and professional program “Organization of International Transportation” at the master’s level of education.
At the lecture, the main principles of operation of the railway system of Ukraine were analyzed, fundamental things were discussed – transportation models and accuracy in railway systems. Thanks to everyone present at the lecture! Let’s hold on!

On December 22, 2022, the UNECE International Seminar on Trade and Transport Promotion “REGULATION OF ELECTRONIC INFORMATION FOR TRUCK TRANSPORT, UN CEFACT SEMANTIC STANDARDS AND MULTIMODAL TRANSPORT DATA REFERENCE MODEL” was held

This webinar continues the tradition of UNECE workshops on Trade Facilitation, Single Window and Data Sharing in Digital Trade Corridors. However, this webinar goes further to respond to the expressed need of regulatory authorities and the business community in Ukraine to deepen the European integration process, joining the parallel promotion of the EU Single Window and Electronic Freight Information (eFTI) Regulations and the UN/CEFACT Single Window Recommendation. semantic standards and the multimodal transport reference data model (MMT RDM).
The aim of the workshop is to familiarize relevant stakeholders in Ukraine with the essence of the eFTI initiative and how UN/CEFACT global standards and reference data models can contribute to achieving its goals.
Professor, head of the Department of Transport Systems and Logistics prof. D.V. Lomotko took part in the seminar. It was noted that in the process of preparing the webinar, stakeholders in Ukraine and other Eastern Partnership countries expressed interest in involving relevant politicians and experts from other Eastern Partnership countries in this initial training.

On June 9-11, 2022, the international conference Smart Technologies in Urban Engineering (STUE-2022) was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the O.M. Beketov National University of Municipal Economy in Kharkiv.

The aim of the conference was to bring together leading scientists, researchers and stakeholders in the field to share their experiences, best practices and research results on all aspects and innovations of Smart Technologies in Urban Engineering.

Employees of the Department of Transport Systems and Logistics prof. Lomotko D.V., senior lecturer Arsenenko D.V. and graduate student of the department Railway stations and nodes Lomotko MD passed the international advanced training on Sustainable Development: Modern Theories and Best Practices (March 31 – April 1, 2022, Tallinn, Estonia).
The staff made a report on the main directions of development of railway systems based on the principles of interoperability. Proceedings of the international scientific-practical conference “Sustainable Development: Modern Theories and Best Practices” are published in the collection. They present the results of scientific research in such scientific fields as financial and economic, administrative and legal, socio-cultural, environmental and technical, educational and pedagogical problems of sustainable development at the local, regional and international levels.
According to the results, international certificates of professional development were obtained in the amount of 15 hours = 0.5 ECTS credits
