International activity of the department
Teaching students in the program “Two diplomas”
Master’s students in this specialty have the opportunity to study under the program “Two diplomas”. After graduation you receive 2 diplomas – European (French or Polish) and domestic (UkrDUZT).
In 2019, a student of our department Mykhailo Demyanchuk studied under this program at the Poznan University of Technology (Poznan, Poland).

Internship of UkrDUZT teachers at Poznan University of Technology (Poznan, Poland).
As part of the implementation of the concept of the University for Internationalization of Higher Education and the European Union Erasmus + KA107 program from 8 to 12 April 2019, Associate Professor of Cars of the Faculty of Mechanical Energy Skurikhin Dmitry Igorevich was at Poznan University of Technology Poznan (Poland).
The following tasks were performed during the visit:
-8 hours of open lectures for students of the Faculty of Transport Engineering in English (Staff Mobility For Teaching);
-acquaintance with the teaching staff of the Department of Railway Vehicles, the organization of teachers, exchange of experiences, networking;
-presentation of scientific and educational activities of UkrDUZT to teachers and students of the Faculty of “Transport Engineering” in English;
– analysis of the organization of the educational process of UkrDUZT students studying at Poznan Polytechnic according to the program of 2 diplomas;
-acquaintance with laboratories, technological equipment, new technologies, means of diagnosing railway transport;
-acquaintance with the design features of passenger and freight cars of Polish railways (with running gear, electrical and internal equipment).
Internship of UkrDUZT teachers at Kazimir Pulaski University of Technology and Humanities (Radom, Poland)
In order to implement the concept of the University for the internationalization of higher education from 5 to 9 November 2018, associate professors of the Department of Cars of the Faculty of Mechanical and Energy Vyacheslav Bondarenko and Dmitry Skurikhin underwent internships at the University of Technology and Humanities. Casimir Pulaski in Radom (Poland).
During the internship, teachers got acquainted with the structure of the university, its educational process and laboratory facilities. Zakłady Automatyki Kombud SA studied the technologies of automation of production processes at railway transport enterprises, got acquainted with the design features of passenger and freight cars of Polish railways (with running gear, electrical and internal equipment).
During the visit, representatives of our university presented in English the scientific and educational activities of UkrDUZT to teachers and students of the faculties of “Transport and Electrical Engineering” and “Mechanical Engineering”, exchanged experiences and established contacts.
At the University of Technology and Humanities. Kazimir Pulaski, employees of the Department of Cars UkrDUZT also took part in the information seminar Erasmus + KA107, organized for representatives of partner universities, where they got acquainted with mobility programs for teachers and students.
International cooperation in the framework of scientific activities of the department
The department works closely with leading manufacturers of bearing components for rolling stock, namely: SKF, Timken and Brenco. Professor Martinov IE took part in the accreditation of the Brenco plant for the production of axle boxes for freight cars in St. Petersburg (USA). Associate Professor Trufanova AV took part in the accreditation of the plant of the company “SKF” for the production of axle boxes for freight cars in Villar-Peroza (Italy).

Teaching lectures and attending seminars
- From 7 to 21 January 2019, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences ES Gevorgyan at the invitation of a partner UkrDUZT – University of Technology and Humanities. Kazimierz Pulaski, Radom (Republic of Poland) conducted lectures for 5th year students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the discipline “Engineering Materials, Nanocomposites and Nanomaterials”. The visit was implemented under the project “Zintegrowany Program UTHRad.”, POWR.03.05.00-00-Z105 / 17, funded by the European Union under the European Funduszu Społecznego. At the end of the lecture course, an anonymous survey was conducted among students on the evaluation of the submitted materials and positive feedback was received.
From 5 to 22 May 2019, Professor of the Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences ES Gevorgyan at the invitation of our partner – University of Technology and Humanities. Kazimierz Pulaski, Radom (Republic of Poland) continued the series of lectures for 5th year students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the discipline “Engineering Materials, Nanocomposites and Nanomaterials”.
During the visit, Professor Gevorkyan ES took part in the VI scientific and technical conference “Fizika Uszkodzen Eksploatacyjnych”, which took place in Sandomierz, Poland from 20 to 22 May 2019. Edwin Spartakovich spoke at the plenary session with a report on “Dyrability and exploitation of the performance of cutting tools made out of chromium oxide nanocomposite materials.” 
On November 6-8, 2019, Professor Edwin Spartakovich Gevorgyan visited China at the invitation of the Yibin City Government of Sichuan Province, where he took part in the “2019 Talent Exchange Conference in the Yangtze River First City & Talent-themed Week” organized by the China-Ukraine Forum of Science and Technology (China-Ukraine Forum of Science and Technology). According to the results of the conference, Professor ES Gevorgyan received an invitation to give lectures at the University of Yibin as a visiting professor.
According to the agreement on cooperation between the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport and the University of Technology and Humanities. Kazimir Pulaski (Radom) from January 7 to 29, 2020, Professor ES Gevorgyan gave lectures in English to students of the Polish University. A series of lectures was held on the subject “Engineering Materials and their operation” for masters of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The key problems of the lectures were the main trends in the development of modern materials science. The visit was implemented under the project “Zintegrowany Program UTHRad.”, POWR.03.05.00-00-Z105 / 17.

NPP “HARTRON-EXPRESS LTD”, car and passenger depots of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia, State Enterprise “Ukrainian Research Institute of Car Building”, PJSC Kryukiv Car-Building Plant, car-repair enterprises of Ukrzaliznytsia and other design and design organizations related to transport and wagon economy.
