Dear women in science, dear friends and colleagues!

On 14 February, in honour of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (KNATOB) hosted a ceremony to award women who strengthen the authority of our city with their achievements in science, education and innovation. Olena Ananieva, Professor of the University, Doctor of Science, was among the awardees.

The award was presented on behalf of the Mayor of Kharkiv for her significant contribution to the development of science, training of young specialists and active social activities. Elena Ananieva is a well-known scientist whose research has been recognised not only in Ukraine but also abroad. Her work has become the basis for new scientific directions and has been applied in various fields.

In her speech during the ceremony, Olena thanked her colleagues, students and family for their support and stressed that achievements in science are always the result of collective work. She also stressed the importance of supporting women in science, as their contribution is an integral part of the development of modern society.
