Participation of the TSL department in the international seminar Ukraine as a strategic production center in the global supply chain

On March 24, 2021, with the assistance of the Council of CSCMP UA RT (Council of Professionals in Supply Chain Management), a seminar “Ukraine as a strategic manufacturing hub in the global supply chain” was held, which was attended by Head of department Transport Systems and Logistics UkrUSURT Professor Denis Lomotko.
During the event, CSCMP RT President in Ukraine Vira Dobachevska shared information about the prospects for the development of logistics chains in the country.
The following issues were discussed at the seminar: Manufacturing as the critical part of the Supply Chain. Real time Simulation of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain relocation to Ukraine. Ukrainian manufacturing clusters and hubs as the essential drivers of international business. Legal and infrastructural background in Ukraine to develop Manufacturing hub in Ukraine and consider global supply chain re-design. New opportunities and supply chains re-design triggered by COVID: lead-times and cost and resources optimization. Development of young generation practitioners in the Supply Chain in Ukraine.
