The current situation in our country requires me to address and inform you of the following.

Firstly, the preservation of the life and health of our students and staff has always been, is and will be a priority of the University management.

Secondly, transport and communications in the country function smoothly, the banking system is stable and predictable, the demarcation line and the state border are under close control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The educational process at the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport is carried out in the usual way using the latest distance learning technologies, and the University dormitories are equipped with all the necessary facilities and amenities or comfortable living, including have heating, cold and and hot running water, electricity and the Internet.

Finally, Kharkiv has always been a center of education and science, culture and tolerance, patriotism and common sense. We live in a city of great ideas and opportunities and I am confident that despite the situation, Kharkiv will remain to be a safe and student-friendly city, ideal for high-quality education!
