«MODELING OF ELECTROMECHANICAL SYSTEMS»

The head of the circle is Vashchenko Yaroslav, Ph.D., Art. teacher.

«MODELING OF ELECTROMECHANICAL SYSTEMS»

The purpose of the circle is to form concepts of modern methods and tools for modeling and simulation of real systems of electric power, electrical engineering and electromechanics with the help of a personal computer. Participants have the opportunity to gain useful knowledge on the use of software in the design, development and research of power systems, approaches to the calculation and implementation of mathematical models on the computer, practical skills in using modern techniques and software.

The acquired skills will facilitate the process of current training, as well as provide the ability to implement high-level work in performing qualifying bachelor’s and master’s theses, writing research papers, creating individual projects and startups, will promote further employment in the industry.
The simulation is performed using the Matlab / Simulink® simulation software environment, Solidworks® three-dimensional design, microprocessor technology, etc. While working in the circle, participants have the opportunity to create and research their own projects of simulation models of electric locomotives, electric trains, electric cars, electrical substations, as well as any other models of modern equipment and the latest technologies.
The work of the circle is carried out in a relaxed atmosphere, according to the approved plan, or individually, according to the personal wishes of the participants. The initial level of knowledge does not matter.
