Doctor of Technical Sciences since 2000. He defended his dissertation at the Kharkiv State Academy of Railway Transport, majoring in “Operation of Railway Transport”. Thesis: “Methodology of information support of freight and passenger traffic based on automation of recognition of moving objects of railway transport.”

Direction of scientific activity: automated control systems of railway transport.

Author of more than 240 scientific papers. As part of educational and methodical work he published more than 70 scientific-methodical and educational-methodical developments, more than 80 copyright certificates and patents for inventions, eight textbooks and one textbook.

He defended his dissertation at the Kharkiv Institute of Railway Engineers, specialized in “Devices of radio engineering and communications.” Theme of dissertation work: “Research of methods and means to increase an information productivity of synthetic aperture radars”.

Scope of scientific interests: application of radio engineering methods in electrical engineering.

Author of 130 scientific papers.

Candidate of Technical Sciences since 2012. She defended the dissertation at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” with a degree in Electric Machines and Apparatus. The topic of the dissertation: “Increase of Power Indexes of Switched Reluctance Motors Feedings from the Network of Alternating Current”.

Direction of scientific activity: design of Switched Reluctance Motors.

Candidate of Technical Sciences since 2002. She defended her dissertation at the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport, majoring in «Railway rolling stock and train traction». Theme of dissertation research: «Improvement of collector traction motors for rolling stock at pulsating and pulse supply voltage».

Direction of scientific activity: creation of new and modernization of existing traction engines of electric rolling stock.

In 2010 he had graduated from the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport with a degree in Electric Transport, qualification – electrical engineer. PhD thesis (2014) on the topic: «Microprocessor power switched reluctance electric drive of single-sleeper type switch» in the specialty “Electrical complexes and systems”.

Scope of scientific interests: modern electric drive control systems, autonomous power sources, energy storage devices on traction rolling stock, hybrid transport systems.

Author of more than 55 scientific articles and reports at international conferences, including 1 monograph and 5 patents.

Volodymyr Nerubatskyi

Volodymyr Nerubatskyi

Candidate of Technical Sciences since 2017. He defended his dissertation at the O. M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv MES of Ukraine, specialty 05.22.09 “Electric Transport”. The topic of the dissertation: “Increases the energy efficiency of electric rolling stock in traction and regenerative braking modes”.

Research interests: semiconductor power converters of electrical energy for electric transport and power supply systems; composite materials for industry from powders of refractory compounds and metals, powder metallurgy.

Author of 170 scientific publications and teaching materials.
