He defended his dissertation in the specialized scientific council at the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport, specialty 05.22.07 – “Railway rolling stock and train traction”. Theme of dissertation work: “Improvement of post-repair tests of traction engines of rolling stock”.

Scope of scientific interests: latest technologies in maintenance and diagnostics of electric rolling stock and railway power supply systems, electric networks of electrified railways.

Author of over 35 scientific papers and educational and methodological developments.

Candidate of Technical Sciences since 1991. He defended his dissertation in the specialized scientific council at the Luhansk Machine-Building Institute, majoring in “Railway rolling stock and train traction”. The topic of the dissertation: “Improving the efficiency of the rheostat brake of main locomotives with AC-DC transmission”.

Direction of scientific activity: increasing the efficiency of electric traction systems. Prepared 2 candidates of technical sciences.

In 1999 he graduated from the Kharkiv Academy of Railway Transport with a degree in “Electric locomotives, electric trains”.

In 2019 graduated from the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport with a degree in 141 “Electrical Energetics, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics”, master’s degree in electrical energetics, electrical engineering and electromechanics (educational program “Electric Transport”).
