THEORY OF MECHANISMS AND MACHINES

Leaders of the group –

• Moroz Volodymyr – D. Sc. (Tech), professor, head of the department of mechanics and machine design;
  Tishchenko Vadym – Ph.D. (Tech), associate professor.
• The purpose of the activity of the scientific group is to identify interested and talented students who are inclined to scientific work, to cultivate the skills of analytical and scientific work with the aim of applying them in further scientific and research activities.

The main tasks of the group are:

• identification of students showing interest in technical disciplines, design and research of mechanisms and machines with the aim of involving them in scientific work;
• assistance in mastering the skills of conducting independent analytical and scientific research;
• development of scientific and analytical thinking, expansion of horizons and erudition;
• deepening knowledge in the discipline “Theory of Mechanisms and Machines”, stimulating interest in self-improvement;
• involving students to participate in scientific activities on the department’s issues;
• attracting students to participate in scientific conferences, competitions for the best project (best scientific work), scientific seminars of the department and the university, round tables, specialized exhibitions and forums.
