Undoubtedly, the “highlight” of the material base of the department is a training sample of the locomotive TE3, which was released at one time in Kharkov by the plant named after V. Malyshev.

The laboratory of mechanical and electrical equipment is the focus of educational and research areas of the department. Here applicants have the opportunity to get acquainted with the design and features of maintenance and repair of individual units of TRS, to implement their ideas in the study of technological processes, to put into practice new ideas.
