Goals of the Educational Programme

Goal of the education by speciality – formation of professional competencies based on general scientific and specialized knowledge, which will provide employment opportunities at leading enterprises and organizations in the railway and industrial transport directions. Expanding knowledge, skills, abilities and mobility to succeed in the labor market and in the social sphere. Acquisition of skills in organizational and managerial, research, design, pedagogical, service and operational areas in accordance with the requirements of higher education standards.

Recipients of the Educational Programme

The program is addressed to entrants, showing interest in the principles of operation, organization, maintenance, modernization, research and implementation of specialized equipment based on modern technologies, protocols and standards.

Training in the program provides the following amount of knowledge, skills and abilities, the opportunity to apply knowledge and form judgments:

  • Structural and operational features of railcars, road trolleys and special machines of railway transport, methods of their design and manufacture are studied;
  • The technology of manufacturing, repair and maintenance, advanced methods of operation and modernization of railcars, trolleys and special machines of railway transport are studied;
  • methods of automatic production of production processes are used, as well as logistical principles, management and marketing in production;
  • he ability to solve non-standard professional problems through the use of standard methods (algorithms) and to search for new technological solutions in the industry;
  • knowledge is formed in the conditions of development of science and social practice which changes; ability to re-evaluate the accumulated experience, analysis of their opportunities to acquire new knowledge, the use of modern information training technologies in the field of railway transport; basic knowledge of foreign languages ​​in the field of railway transport is provided.

After graduating from the university, specialists in this specialty have the opportunity to work at the enterprises of locomotive, energy, railway tracks; in suburban companies; locomotive repair and locomotive plants, in design and research organizations of Ukraine and abroad.
