The 85th annual student scientific and practical conference was held at the Faculty of Information and Control Systems and Technologies

On 10–11 December 2025, the Faculty of Information and Control Systems and Technologies held its annual scientific and practical conference for higher education students. Over two days, more than a hundred participants presented their research in the field of information technology, telecommunications and transport systems.

The event was opened by the dean of the faculty, Serhii Zmii, who emphasised the importance of innovation in the railway industry and IT sector. At the plenary session, young researchers presented their work on automation, artificial intelligence, energy-efficient solutions and digital technologies.

The conference was divided into three sections:

Automation and computer remote control,

Specialised computer systems,

Transport communications.

Participants discussed the implementation of neural networks in infrastructure diagnostics, the development of 5G-R, transport process modelling, cyber security issues and intelligent control systems. The reports were distinguished by their relevance and practical focus.

The event confirmed the high level of training of the applicants and their readiness to work with advanced technologies that are shaping the future of the transport and IT industries.
