Results of the online tournament for pupils and students “Digital economy in the modern world of finance”

The Department of State and Corporate Finance Management of the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport, with the support of the Department of Science and Education of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, held the annual online tournament “Digital Economy in the Modern World of Finance” on January 22-February 7, 2022.

The tournament was held with the aim of popularizing and forming a sustainable interest in the development trends of the digital economy, which is increasingly becoming the driving force of global economic growth and plays an important role in accelerating the pace of economic development, raising the educational level, acquiring worldviews and developing the intellectual potential of talented school and student youth .

The results exceeded expectations!

About 200 participants from various educational institutions of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region took part in the tournament. The variety of project-presentation topics is amazing! The participants of the tournament demonstrated awareness of the introduction of new financial market products in the conditions of the digital economy, explored the features of modern payment systems on the Internet, found out the prospects for the development of digitalization of the insurance market, analyzed the possibilities of investing in cryptocurrency assets and the effectiveness of purchasing cryptocurrencies, revealed the features of the development of digital banking in Ukraine.

All participants of the tournament received certificates, and the winners in each section were awarded diplomas.
