Research area: methodological aspects of investment and innovation development of the Ukrainian railway complex, cost management and improvement of transportation costs, problematic issues of accounting and taxation.

Author of more than 155 publications, including 133 scientific and 22 teaching materials, including 110 publications in professional journals, 11 monographs (including 2 individual monographs) and 2 textbooks approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Dr. Sci. Econ. since 2012. She defended her thesis in the specialized academic council D 26.256.01 of the State Institution “Institute of Environmental Economics and Sustainable Development of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”. Thesis title: “Theoretical and methodological principles of governmental regulation of long-term social development”. Scientific consultant – Dr. Sci. Econ. Prof. V.I.Kutsenko.

Areas of research: methodological bases of introduction of the organization of accounting and tax management in modern economic conditions, formation of a management system for sustainable development of Ukrainian national economy.

Author of more than 180 scientific publications and teaching materials. She has 4 patents.

PhD of Economics since 2002. She defended her thesis in the specialized Council d 64.820.05 of the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport, specialty 08.07.04 “Economics of transport  and  and communications”. Topic: “Methodological bases of restructuring of railway enterprises (economic and organizational aspect)”.

In 2014, as an exception, by the decision of the Certification Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, she was awarded the academic title of professor of the Department of Accounting and Auditing.

Scope of scientific activity: formation of accounting policies of enterprises, taxonomy of financial reporting, implementation of international financial reporting standards in Ukraine, internal control in the railway industry.

Author of more than 90 scientific works and educational and methodical developments, including an article in the scientometric database Scopus; 4 textbooks; 2 collective monographs.

Research area: Establishing theoretical aspects of integration processes in the transport sector and developing practical recommendations on development perspectives of the       Ukrainian railway transport, taking into account the need to implement European standards for the development of the industry

Author more than 35 scientific publications, including 1 textbook and 2 monographs. As part of her teaching and methodical work, associate professor V. M. Orlova prepared for publication and published 37 scientific, teaching and methodological, including 8 teaching aids.

PhD of Economics since 2011. The dissertation has been defended in the specialized Academic Council D64.820.05 of the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport,  specialty 08.00.04 – Economics and Management of Enterprises (by type of economic activity), diploma  DK 000479.

Scope of scientific activity: digitalization of accounting, audit of financial and economic activity of enterprises,  HR audit, scientific support of introduction of management accounting in the enterprises of Ukraine, incl. railway transport.

Author of more than 48 scientific and scientific-methodical works, including 15 scientific-methodical and 1 textbook.

In 2001 Irina graduated from Kharkiv State Academy of Railway Transport with honors, specialty “Accounting and Audit”, qualification “Economist”. PHD in Economics since 2011. She defended the dissertation on the topic “Formation of Controlling System at the enterprises of the railway transport “.

Scope of scientific activity: Introduction of controlling in the management of enterprises; improvement of the accounting organization at the enterprise; accounting and analytical support of economic safety of the enterprise.

The author of about 40 scientific works, including 2 manuals. About 20 scientific-methodical and educational-methodical works were prepared for publishing within the framework of educational and methodical work.
