In 1995 she graduated from the Kharkov State Academy of Railway Transport with a degree in Automation, Telemechanics and Communication in Railway Transport. In 1999 she defended her Ph.D. thesis in the specialty “Telecommunication systems and their management”, since 2008 Associate Professor of the Department of Specialized Computer Systems.

Scientific activity direction:

Information systems, computer systems for automation of railway transport, design of distributed computer systems, ensuring functional safety in the implementation of microprocessor control systems for train traffic.

Author of more than 80 scientific papers. Within the framework of educational and methodical work, associate professor Klimenko L.A. published and prepared for publication more than 80 scientific-methodical and educational-methodical developments, of which educational-methodical – 15.
