The Department of Transport Systems and Logistics was established in 2011 at the Faculty of Transportation Process Management. The first to head the department was Dr. Tech. Sciences, Professor Alyoshinsky Eugene Semenovich, and since 2016 – Dr. Tech. Sciences, Professor Lomotko Denis Viktorovich. The staff of the department has published about 400 scientific articles, created more than 40 abstracts of lectures and methodological developments, received 7 patents.
Direction of educational activity of the department Transport systems and logistics: preparation of bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy of full-time and part-time (distance) form of education. Training is carried out in the specialty 275.02 Transport Technologies (on railway transport).
