About the department TSL

The Department of Transport Systems and Logistics was established in 2011 at the  faculty Transportation Process Management.

Direction of educational activity of the department Transport systems and logistics: preparation of bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy of full-time and part-time (distance) form of education. Training is carried out in the specialty 275.02 Transport technologies on railway transport).

The current staff of the department of TSL

The Department of TSL together with the Educational and Scientific Institute of Retraining and Advanced Training  since 2014 provides training for masters in the program “Master of Infrastructure and Operation of High-Speed ​​Railway” EU project TEMPUS, who receive two master’s degrees. ESP Organization of Traffic and Transport Management with a specialization “Organization of high-speed traffic” of the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport and a master’s degree from the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (Paris, France) in “Manager of high-speed traffic systems”.

The direction of scientific activity of the department of TSL: improvement of technology of transport and logistics systems.

One of the priorities of the department is to create conditions for teaching disciplines at the modern level. This is impossible without constant updating of educational and methodological support, including by creating distance learning courses with elements of interactive teaching methods. A textbook on the Technology of Transport of Dangerous Goods by Rail with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was co-authored. In recent years, the Department of TSL has updated work programs in all disciplines, compiled syllabuses, updated methods for each discipline studied, created a modern interactive educational and methodological complex – a stand with access to the Internet.

TSL Department maintains close creative ties with transport, forwarding, industrial and logistics institutions, enterprises and organizations of Ukraine and other countries.
