Modern computer technologies are widely used in the educational process of the university. All specialized laboratories of the university are equipped with modern computers, where students have the opportunity to use a local network with access to the Internet.

According to the order of Ukrzaliznytsia, the Department of Management and Administration has a specialized laboratory of Railway Transport Economics. The department conducts an assessment of masters’ knowledge, testing, and state examinations on the basis of its own laboratory.

Multimedia equipment of a specialized computer class is used for the demonstrations of lecture materials, as well as during the defense of term papers and dissertations.

Laboratories are used for the educational process on average for 2 hours per day during the training period of each student.

In 2015, the newest computer class with modern equipment was open, allowing teachers to implement active teaching methods.
