History of the department

The Department of Marketing was established in 1991. Professor V.S. Verloka was the first head of the department. Since 2010 Doctor of Economics Olena Zorina has been the head of the Department of Marketing.

In 1994 the Department launched a speciality in transport marketing for enterprises of rail transport on the basis full-time and distance courses. In 1997 the first issue took place.

Since 2003, the department after the accreditation has passed the issue of bachelors, specialists and masters in the specialty “Marketing”

During the period from 1997 to 2017, there were 20 issues of full-time and 18 distance courses, more than 590 specialists and 100 masters were trained, 125 of which received honors.

In 2014 the Department launched recruitment of masters of full-time and  distance courses began.

In 2014, a set of masters of daytime and part-time training began.

In December 2015 the department was accredited for the issue of masters in the specialty “Marketing”. Within the specialty, the education of specialists is carried out according to the specializations: “Marketing” and “Commercial activity and logistics”.
