History of the conference

From January 24 to 30, 2020, the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport held the First International Scientific and Technical Conference “Intelligent Transport Technologies” in Truskavets together with the participants of the conference in Kharkiv on the basis of UkrDUZT.

The international scientific and technical conference aimed at the systematic management of transport units was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Faculty of Transportation Process Management of the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport.

The predecessors of the conference are the annual international scientific and technical conferences “Development of scientific and innovative activities in transport”, which were held on the basis of the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport from the moment of its foundation in 1930 to 2018. Conferences were constantly attended by professors and academic staff of departments, leading specialists and employees of railways and branch enterprises. The topics of the conference were constantly expanding, which led to a change in its format.

Implementation of the idea of ​​holding and prospects for further work of the conference, which covers a wide range of important issues of interest to scientists and industrialists of Ukraine and the world, became possible thanks to the university’s rich experience in holding international conferences, in particular:

• “Development of scientific and innovative activities in transport”. International scientific and technical conference of scientists and transport specialists of Ukraine and the world, which in 2018 was held already in the 80th;
• “Problems of international transport corridors and corporate logistics” International Scientific and Practical Conference (since 2014)
• “International transport infrastructure, industrial centers and corporate logistics”. Scientific and practical international conferences (since 2017)
• “Modern innovative and information technologies in the transportation of dangerous goods” Scientific and technical conference (2017)
• Technologies and transport infrastructure”. International scientific and technical conference (2018)

The conference was held online, the conference participants were connected to each other using Skype.
The “Intelligent Transport Technologies” conference is aimed at system management of transport units by sections:

1. Section “Development of intelligent technologies in the management of transport systems”
2. “Transport systems and logistics” section
3. Section “Intelligent design and service in transport”
4. Section “Functional materials and technologies in the manufacture and restoration of transport parts”

125 participants took part in the conference with 63 reports. Speakers had the opportunity to share their own research and achievements in the field of improving transport technologies, hear the opinion and get acquainted with the experience of their colleagues, discuss problematic issues regarding the further development of transport processes.
