About the department

The mission of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Audit is to train highly qualified specialists (bachelor’s, master’s) in the field of finance and accounting, based on the harmonization of the educational process with the use of modern information technologies and innovative methods of organizing the educational process, in order to ensure their competitiveness in the labor market.

The mission is fulfilled by performing a set of tasks:

• actively introduce innovative educational technologies in the process of teaching the disciplines of “bachelor” and “master”;
• constantly improve the human resources of the department by improving the skills of educators in the field of modern information technologies and pedagogical mastery;
• conduct theoretical and practical seminars with participation of professional financial market participants;
• constantly work on the preparation of textbooks, manuals, other educational means, computer software etc .;
• conduct research work, management of scientific and research work of applicants and postgraduate students;
• participate in scientific and practical conferences, seminars, master classes, trainings;
• to improve and develop a new educational and methodological support of disciplines, taking into account the transition to up to date information and innovative technologies in the educational process;
• to implement innovative technologies into the educational process.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the department as of September 1, 2022 is consisting of 12 teachers, in particular: 2 Doctors of Economics (16.67%), 10 Ph. D. in Economics (83.33%).

Scientific and pedagogical staff of the department carry out active scientific activity: publish monographs, manuals, textbooks, scientific articles, participate in international, national and university scientific and practical events, undergo internships in Ukraine and abroad.

       The department offers students a system of knowledge that will allow them to qualitatively comprehend the full depth of financial science and skillfully apply their knowledge in future practice.
