The logistics of the educational process in the specialties of the Finance, Accounting and Audit Department meets the requirements for it. The total area of the auditorium, which belongs to one student, is 14.5 m2.
Training of specialists is carried out using the auditorium of the entire university. The total area occupied by the graduating department of the Finance, Accounting and Audit Department is 414 m2, including training classrooms of 126 m2. At the Department of Public and Corporate Finance, students’ classes are held in specialized classrooms equipped with appropriate technical equipment. All computers of the educational classes, departments and faculties are integrated into a local computer network that is connected to the Internet.
The department has its own library, which has about 250 copies of textbooks and manuals, periodical literature, regulatory acts of Ukraine, instructions, regulations, orders of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Ukrzaliznytsya and Ministry of Education.
In the computer class of the department there is a set of educational versions of software products: “Building Technologies – SMETA”, “Building Technologies – SMETA PIR”, IDS “BUDSTANDART” LLC “Computer Logic Group”. Due to their modern approach to programming, the software complex is designed to automate the calculation and validation of budget documentation in accordance with the requirements of national regulations.
The “Building Technology-Smeta” program is essential for future financiers to use in their studies, namely in the areas of Project Finance, Business Project Financing. In addition, students of the faculty of Civil Engineering use this computer program in the economic part of the diploma project for preparation of cost construction estimates. Acquaintance and use of the computer program gives students of specialty 072 “Finance, Banking and Insurance” and 273 “Railway Transport” the opportunity to consolidate theoretical knowledge about pricing methods for design and construction costs at different stages of drafting and designing documents; mastering the basics of costing and pricing; composition and sequence of calculation of investor estimates; determining direct and overhead costs, etc.
Mastering computer program skills will ensure the competitiveness of students and increase their value for employers of Ukraine, and also opens up new prospects for students and teachers in improving the quality of the educational process.
