EDUCATIONAL AND METHODICAL WORK OF THE DEPARTMENTSaiapin O.S., Shevchenko A.O., Matviienko O.O., Manuilenko V.H. Main Provisions and Mechanisms in the Railway Construction:  textbook — Kyiv: Publishing House “Condor”, 2020. — 268 P. Figures 91. Tables 27. Bibliography contains 21 titles.

ISBN 978-617-7939-12-1

The textbook sets out the basic concepts and content of railway construction technology, composition and scope of work during the construction of the ground work; construction equipment (transport, transporting, loading and unloading, lifting machines, cranes, machines for preparatory and final works), classification and indexation; technology of work performance during the construction of man-made construction (culverts and bridges); technology of monolithic concrete, reinforced concrete and masonry; and protective coatings application.

It is recommended for students of the II and III courses of intramural form of studying, IV and V courses of extramural form of studying, educational level — “Bachelor”, educational and professional program — “Railway Structures and Track Industry”, branch of knowledge — 27 “Transport”, specialty 273 — “Railway Transport”.

EDUCATIONAL AND METHODICAL WORK OF THE DEPARTMENTGeodetic Studies in Determining Landslide Processes on the Sections of Railway Communication in Mountainous Areas: textbook / Uhnenko Ye.B., Tymchenko O.M., Orel Ye.F., Uzhviieva O.M., Sorochuk N.I. — Kyiv: Publishing House “Condor”, 2018. — 180 p.

The manual consists of six parts. The first part contains basic concepts about the nature of dangerous geological processes on the sections of communication routes in mountainous areas. In addition, the features of engineering protection against landslides within the Carpathian region and the determination of landslide deformations on the sections of communication routes in mountainous areas are considered.

The second part is devoted to the peculiarities of researches and design of communication routes in mountainous areas.

The third part provides a description of geodetic surveys in determining landslide processes on the sections of communication routes in mountainous areas.

The fourth part contains the basic principles of assigning anti-landslide measures.

The fifth part consists of engineering and technical methods of communication routes protection in mountainous areas from natural disasters. In addition, systematization and analysis of engineering and technical measures of protection against landslides are presented.

The sixth part reveals the essence of improving the technology and organization of mountain communication routes operation in Ukraine.

It is intended for students of the specialties “Geodesy and Land Regulation”, “Railway Structures in Transport” and “Construction and Civil Engineering”.

EDUCATIONAL AND METHODICAL WORK OF THE DEPARTMENTEducational Geodetic Practice: textbook / Hlushchenko V.M., Uhnenko Ye.B., Pavlenko N.V., Uzhviieva O.M., Tymchenko O.M. — Kyiv: Condor, 2017. — 214 P.

The manual consists of five parts. The first and second parts contain the main provisions concerning the rules for organizing the practice and its implementation, the sequence of execution and scope of work, and material support. In addition, forms and methods of control are proposed, and requirements for a practice report are formulated. Explanations on the implementation of preparatory work are provided.

The third part contains explanations and instructions for performing phototopography, constructing planned and high-altitude phototopography foundations, and tacheometric survey.

The fourth part provides a description of engineering and geodetic works in the survey of highways − laying the road routes, its detailed marking, geometric leveling and construction of sections.

The fifth part consists of separate tasks of engineering breakdown works.

It is intended for students of the specialties “Geodesy and Land Regulation” and “Construction and Civil Engineering”.

EDUCATIONAL AND METHODICAL WORK OF THE DEPARTMENTUhnenko Ye.B. Improving the Method of Substantiation of Settlements Detours Construction Taking Into Account Environmental Indicators / Ye.B. Uhnenko, O.M. Uzhviieva. — Kharkiv: 2014. — 136 p., figures, tables.

ISBN 978-966-303-540-6

It is proposed to improve the method of substantiation of settlements detours construction taking into account environmental indicators in different modes of traffic flows.

It is intended for senior students of higher technical institutions, masters, postgraduates and research scientists.

EDUCATIONAL AND METHODICAL WORK OF THE DEPARTMENTImprovement of Protection Methods from Natural Disasters on Highways in Mountainous Areas: monograph / Uhnenko Ye.B., Matlakhov I.M., Tymchenko O.M., Hlobenko V.K. — Kharkiv: Publishing House of Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University, 2010. — 120 p.

The paper considers existing methods of protection against natural disasters on highways in mountainous areas. A mathematical model for predicting the occurrence and determining the speed of movement of soil landslides is developed. The value of soil pressure on retaining structures with a curved sliding surface and features of the soli stress state along the potential shear surface on highways are determined.

It is designed for senior students of higher technical institutions, masters, postgraduates and scientific workers. Figures 51. Tables 20. Bibliography contains 30 titles.

EDUCATIONAL AND METHODICAL WORK OF THE DEPARTMENTUhnenko Ye.B. Methodology of Designing the Reconstruction of Highways Taking Into Account Environmental Indicators Kharkiv: Publishing House of Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University, 2008. — 184 p.

ISBN 978-966-303-187-3

The work offers a systematic approach to the interaction of highways with the environment. The analysis the existing methods of ecological systems studying of the “Highway – traffic flow environment” type is presented. A method for evaluation of the tracks during highways reconstruction has been developed.

It is intended for senior students of higher technical institutions, masters, postgraduates and scientific workers.
