At the Department of Surveys and Design of Communication Routes, Geodesy and Land Regulation there is a Scientific Circle “GEODESY AND DESIGN OF COMMUNICATION ROUTES” as a voluntary association of students interested in in-depth study of the disciplines of the Department and in the development of professional and scientific skills.
Young scientists of the Department of Surveys and Design of Communication Routes, Geodesy and Land Regulation, as well as students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering take part in the Scientific Circle work.
In its activities, the Circle is guided by the principles of the circle members equality, self-government, openness and close connection of research work with the educational process.

The purpose of the Scientific Circle is to form primary systematized skills of scientific activity and the ability to apply the achievements of science and scientific and technological progress in practical activities at its members, as well as to identify the most capable and talented students who are inclined to scientific work.
The main tasks of the Circle are as follows:
attracting students who show interest in scientific work to cooperation;
ensuring students’ extended assimilation of educational program material and knowledge extending on the studied disciplines;
mastering the methodology of scientific research, development of students’ scientific thinking and analytical abilities, expanding their worldview and improving their intelligence level;
attracting students to participate in scientific activities on the Department issues;
ensuring students’ participation in scientific conferences, competitions for the best project (best scientific work), scientific seminars of the Department and University, round tables, specialized exhibitions and forums.
Students and postgraduates of the Scientific Circle take part
in International and All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences;
in International competitions of research papers (projects);
in specialized exhibitions, forums, and master classes.
