Student scientific circle “Ensuring the competitiveness of the economy”

The Department of Economics and Management of Production and Commercial Business has a student scientific group “Ensuring the Competitiveness of the Economy” as a voluntary association of students interested in in-depth study of the disciplines of the department and the development of skills for professional and scientific activity.

Students of the Department of Economic and Social Development participate in the work of the scientific group.

In its activities, the group is guided by the principles of equality of members of the group, self-government, openness and transparency, and an organic connection between scientific and research work and the educational process.

The purpose of the scientific group is to form in students an interest and need for scientific creativity and the development of their scientific and research competence in the field of solving problematic issues of economics.

The main tasks of the group are:

• involving students in scientific research;
• assisting in mastering the skills of conducting independent scientific research;
• developing scientific thinking, broadening horizons and erudition;
• deepening knowledge of the disciplines being studied, stimulating interest in professional self-improvement;
• involving students in participating in scientific activities on the issues of the department;
• ensuring the participation of students in scientific conferences, competitions for the best project (best scientific work), scientific seminars of the department and the university, round tables, specialized exhibitions and forums;
• development of the scientific school, creative teams, education of a reserve of scientists, researchers, teachers.

• Students of the scientific circle participate in:
• in International and All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences;
• in All-Ukrainian and International competitions of scientific and research works (projects);
• in the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Enterprise Economics;
• in specialized exhibitions, round tables, forums, master classes.

Achievements of the participants of the student scientific circle “Ensuring the Competitiveness of the Economy” in 2023-2024 academic year

1) The participants of the circle took an active part in the publication of abstracts and presented at the 83rd student scientific and technical conference (December 12-14, 2023, Kharkiv). Students of the department prepared 76 abstracts of reports for participation in the student scientific and technical conference. The research of the following students aroused the greatest interest:

Student Medyannyk V.V. published abstracts of reports on the topic “Assessment of the reliability of energy supply of the region when using renewable energy sources”.

7) Student Lobanova E.V. was a co-executor of the initiative research topic “Ensuring the competitiveness of railway transport enterprises in the conditions of digitalization” (state registration number No. 0121U110457, implementation period: 2020-2023).
