Goals of the Educational Programme
Thepurposeoftrainingundertheprogramistoobtainknowledgeandskillsinthefieldofdesignandtechnicalserviceofhoisting-and-transport, construction, road, track, miningandoilandgasproductionmachinesandequipment.
Particular attention in the preparation of specialists is given to modern computer-aided design systems for machines; methods for selecting and optimizing sets of cars when performing road construction works; maintenance of the railway track and roads; open and underground mining; ensuring a high level of mechanization of transshipment operation sat logistics terminals; the development and improvement of automation systems for work processes of machines; method sandmeans of maintenance and repair of hydraulic drives, engines and work in gequipment of machines.
Recipients of the Educational Programme
The program is addressed to applicants interested in gaining knowledge in the field of design, production and technical operation of hoisting-and-transport, construction, road, track, mining and oil and gas production machines and equipment.
The program will be interesting for those who plan to connect their future with the design of new machines; improving the design of machines manufactured serially by domestic and foreign manufacturers; management of the processes of maintenance and repair of carparks during the operation of transport, construction, engineering enterprises, as well as enterprises for the extraction and processing of minerals.
One of the main aspects of the program is the formation of highly qualified engineering and technical workers for the transport, construction, engineering, mining and metallurgical industries, capable of making technical decisions on the efficient use of hoisting, transport, construction, road, track, mining and oil and gasproduction machine sat all stages of their lifecycle.
Training under the program gives such a volume of knowledge, skills and abilities, the ability to apply knowledge and form judgments:
- methods of analysis, calculation and synthesis of the main systems and units of machines, ways and prospects of their development for the near and long termare studied;
- skills and abilities to perform analysis, calculation, synthesis and design of machines, their individual systems and components based on the use of modern computer-aided design systems are formed;
- skills of effective application, maintenance and repair, maintenance of the set reliability of cars on the basis of maintenance of the minimum operational costs when performing works are formed.
Accordingtothe CLASSIFICATION OF ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES inforce in Ukraine DK 009: 2010 graduates who have passed the certification of the educational program have the opportunity to work in the following sectors of the economy:
- Mining and quarrying
- processing industry
- Transport, wareho using
Students are trained in certified industry laboratories “Chemotological” and “Mechanization and automation of loading and unloading”, the laboratory “Nanotechnology and Transport”, equipped with moderne quipment.
Throughout their studies, students take part in research projects (including pay), which are conducted by the graduating department, commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Ukrzaliznytsia, KharkovMetro, machine-building, metallurgical, ore-dressing and oil and gasenterprises of Ukraine. The main are as of such work are: the development and implementation of nanotechnology in machine designs, saving petroleum products, increasing there liability of machines by reducing friction and wear, developing modern means of mechanization and automation of work, developing diagnostic and repair to ols for hydraulic drive elements of machines.
