Energetic Management
Guarantor of the Educational Program
Guarantor of the EP “Construction, Track, mines, Oil and Gas Machines” – k.t.s., docent O.V.Vasilenko
Goals of the Educational Programme
The Goals of the Educational Programme is to train specialists capable of solving complex general, specialized problems and practical problems in the field of Thermal Power Engineering, heat and fuel technology. Acquisition of competencies and development of skills to perform engineering tasks in modeling, design and calculation of thermal power equipment. Development of knowledge, skills and abilities for success in the labor market and in the social sphere.
Recipients of the Educational Programme
The programme is aimed at applicants who are interested in the possibilities of this broad specialty. The programme will be useful for those wishing to gain knowledge in the field of production, efficient use and conservation of energy resources and will continue apply it to enterprises that are producers and consumers of energy, regardless of their profile.
The programme provides such knowledge, skills, application and judgement:
- the study of quantitative mathematical methods, natural and technical sciences and computer software are studied to solve engineering problems in the heat and power industry.
- the ability to apply and integrate knowledge and skills from other engineering disciplines to solve professional problems is being developed.
- the basic design and operation of thermal power equipment is being studied.
- – the ability to detect, classify and evaluate the performance of systems and components using analytical and modelling techniques in the thermal power industry is being developed.
- the ability to identify, research and solve problems in the field of thermal power, as well as to identify constraints, including those related to engineering, nature protection and sustainable development, health and safety and risk
