In 1983 graduated with honors from Barnaul state pedagogical institute, speciality “Teacher of English and German”. In1984 took a post-graduate course at the department of English stylistics in Moscow state pedagogical institute of foreign languages named after M. Torrez wherein 1990 defended the dissertation approved by the specialized academic council, speciality ”Germanic languages”. In 1997 was conferred the academic status of docent (associate professor)

English stylistics, text linguistics, implicative potential of imagery, conceptual linguistics
