OPEN LECTURE ON THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION OF THE RAILWAY SYSTEM OF UKRAINE FOR STUDENTS OF TRANSPORT HIGH SCHOOLS

The countdown to the second year of the large-scale war has ended, but free Ukrainian transport education continues to develop and improve. Collaborations, interactions and exchange of experience of different universities only improve the level of education!

On May 11, 2023, as part of the educational and scientific project “Synergy of knowledge and experience in the field of transport business and logistics” for students, teachers and guarantors of educational programs of four leading transport universities of Ukraine, a lecture on the topic “Principles of operation of the railway system of Ukraine” was held. Structure and management system of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia“.
Lecturer, leading specialist in the operation of railway systems Andrii Prokhorchenko – Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor, full member of the Transport Academy of Ukraine, guarantor of the educational and professional program “Organization of International Transportation” at the master’s level of education.
At the lecture, the main principles of operation of the railway system of Ukraine were analyzed, fundamental things were discussed – transportation models and accuracy in railway systems. Thanks to everyone present at the lecture! Let’s hold on!
The lecture is aimed at students of higher education majors 275 – “Transport technologies (by types)”, 273 “Rail transport”, 192 “Construction and civil engineering”.

Students, teachers of educational and professional programs at the bachelor’s and master’s levels of the UER department – “Organization of international transportation” with the specialization 275.02 – transport technologies (on railway transport) have the opportunity to listen to lectures by leading specialists in various types of transport within the scope of this project.
