Education:

In 1982 he graduated with honors from Yerevan Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Metal Cutting Machines and Tools.

Candidate of Technical Sciences since 1990. He defended his dissertation in the specialized scientific council D 26.230.01 at the Institute of Superhard Materials of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv.

Doctor of Technical Sciences since 2008. He defended his dissertation in the specialized scientific council D 64.050.03 at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” in Kharkiv.

Full member of the Transport Academy of Ukraine.

Member of the Specialized Academic Council for the Defense of Doctoral Dissertations D 64.050.03 at NTU “KhPI”.
Member of the Specialized Academic Council for the Defense of Doctoral Dissertations at UkrDUZT.

Member of the editorial board of the collection of scientific works of UkrDUZT.

Scientific activity direction:

Development of composite materials for industry from powders of refractory compounds and metals, powder metallurgy, materials science.

He has more than 215 scientific works, 28 patents, 2 international patents.
