The purpose of the journal is to promote scientific and technical progress in the field of rail transport through the development and implementation of intelligent information systems,  automated traffic control systems and energy-efficient technologies, as well as the publication of research findings aimed at the digitalisation of infrastructure and the improvement of transport safety.

The objective of the journal is to provide a professional platform for the publication of peer-reviewed articles in the field of information, control, automated and energy systems in transport.

The journal accepts submissions in the following fields:

F7 (Computer Engineering) – design and development of specialised software for transport systems, creation of digital twins of transport infrastructure, implementation of algorithms for managing transport operations, ensuring the cybersecurity of critical railway infrastructure;

F6 (Information Systems and Technologies) – intelligent decision-support systems, big data analysis for monitoring train movements, and development of information systems for managing logistics flows and passenger services;

G5 (Electronics, electronic communications, instrument engineering, and radio engineering) – modernization of railway power supply systems, improving the energy efficiency of traction rolling stock, research into the electromagnetic compatibility of technical equipment, and the implementation of modern diagnostic and protection systems for electrical equipment;

G6 (Information and Measurement Technologies) – development of electronic devices for monitoring the condition of rolling stock, implementation of power electronics for traction control systems, and development of precision sensors and measurement systems for infrastructure monitoring;

G7 (Automation, computer-integrated technologies, and robotics) – automation of train traffic control processes, implementation of SCADA systems at station complexes, and development of robotic systems.
