In 1990, graduated from Kharkiv Institute of Railway Transport Engineers majoring in Automation, Telemechanics and Communication on Railway Transport.

PhD in Engineering Science since 1996. He defended his PhD thesis at the specialized scientific board of Kharkiv State Academy of Railway Transport in specialty 05.22.08 – Operation of Railway Transport. The subject of the thesis was “Development of phase-sensitive track receivers of electric rail circuits“.

Doctor of Engineering Science since 2010. He defended his doctoral thesis at the specialized scientific board of Dnipro National University of Railway Transport in specialty 05.22.20 – Operation and Repair of Vehicles. The subject of the thesis was “The Models and Methods of the Adaptive Control on the Motion Parameters of the Railway Transport Means“. Professor since 2012.

Scientific activity direction:

Automation of technological processes on railway transport; development of methods and means of control of rolling stock locations and train traffic control.

Full member of the Transport Academy of Ukraine and International Academy of Life Safety of Ukraine.

Chairman of the specialized scientific board D 64.820.04; Member of the specialized scientific board D 64.820.02.

Author:

160 scientific publications and teaching materials. Among them are 9 monographs, 11 textbooks and manuals, 32 patents and copyright certificates. Supervises the research work of graduate and doctoral students.

For personal achievements in the field of science he was awarded the Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; awarded with the Diploma of Merit of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine; awarded with the breastplate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “Excellence in Education of Ukraine”, the breastplate “Honorary Worker of Transport of Ukraine”, the breastplate of Ukrzaliznytsia “Honorary Railwayman”, Golden Badge “For significant contribution to the development of the Southern Railway”.
