External relations of the department

Philosophy and Sociology Department maintains close liaison with related departments of teaching, philosophy, sociology, psychology of: V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, Kharkiv National Technical Automobile and Highway University, Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture, Kharkiv National University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (Dnipro), H.S. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy, Academic Society of Michal Baludansky (Kosice, Slovakia), H. S. Skovoroda National Literary and Memorial Museum (Skovorodynivka), the library of Marx University of Leipzig (Leipzig, Germany), “East-West” Association for Advanced Studies and Higher Education (Vienna, Austria), etc. These links create opportunities to improve theoretical level and deepen practical experience of the teaching staff of the department, motivate to improve their skills and further research, this is evidenced by scientific publications, participation in international conferences, scientific seminars and more.

For the last 13 years, the department has held an annual conference “Human. Society. Communication Technologies”, where  not only domestic but also foreign specialists (scientists from Norway, Germany, etc.) take part.

Lecturers of the department, in particular Associate Professor Tolstov I.V., actively cooperate with the Institute of Retraining and Advanced Training (IRAT) and Center for Educational and Practical Training, Vocational and Dual Education (CEPT) of UkrSURT in the process of training railway specialists of different levels.
