Formation and development of competent and successful future specialist, a socially and psychologically mature personality begins during student years, and only then continues during implementation of professional activities.
One of the ways to deepen professional training and socialization of the future specialist is students` participation of in research work. The latter is one of the most important means of improving the quality of training in higher education, namely: strengthens active, creative principles in educational process, serves as a powerful tool to selection for training of young scientists, preservation and restoration of scientific schools. Professionals who have experience of student scientific efforts, show up contrarian thinking and as a rule demonstrate outstanding success in their professional activities.
In order to favour active involvement of students in academic research work at Philosophy and Sociology Department, student science clubs have been established in various fields:
- philosophical – the head is Tolstov Ivan, Associate Professor;
- psychological – sociological – the head is Zagriichuk Ivan, Professor;
Within the work of the clubs students have opportunities to gain research skills, in particular: to improve their knowledge, gain ability to organize and present the results of their research using the latest technology, present their line of argument, to discuss, to work in a team.
