Scope of scientific interests: increasing the wear resistance of machine parts, improving the quality of fuels and lubricants.

Author of more than 100 scientific works, educational and methodical developments. Obtained 12 patents.

Doctor of Engineering Science since 2009. He defended his doctoral dissertation on “Energy-saving power transmissions of construction and road machines” in the specialized council at the Kharkiv National Automobile and Road University, specialty 05.05.04. – “Machines for earthworks, road and forestry works”.

Scope of scientific interests:  improvement of the element base of the hydraulic drive; – computer diagnostics of the state of hydraulic systems of machines; – energy recovery in hydraulic systems of machines; – grinding of materials while providing conditions for the hydrodynamic mode of friction in the channels of the mill.

Author of more than 230 scientific works, educational and methodological developments. Obtained 20 patents and copyright certificates.

Andrii Kravets

PhD in Engineering Science since 2004. He defended his PhD thesis at the specialized scientific board D  64.820.04 in specialty 05.22.07 – train stock and hauling operation. The subject of the thesis was: «Improvement of the working capacity of the fuel gear of the engines of diesel locomotives by hydrodynamic fuel dispersion». Research advisor – D.Sc. (Tech) Ye.Ventsel.

The direction of scientific activity: Resource-saving technologies on transport. Modern, highly efficient operating materials for rolling stock of railway transport, construction, and track equipment. Improving the properties of fuels and lubricants.

80 scientific publications and teaching materials. Obtained 6 invention patents and 3 utility model patents.

The topic of the dissertation: “Diagnosing the wear and durability of machine parts on the electrical conductivity of lubricating oil.”

Scope of scientific interests: increasing the life of technical systems by diagnosing the performance properties of lubricants, as well as mechanization of loading and unloading operations.

The topic of the dissertation: “Increasing the durability of hydraulic units of railway vehicles by intensifying the formation of the lubricating layer.” Scientific adviser – D.Sc., Professor S. Scope of scientific interests: increase of durability of hydraulic units of vehicles, development of microprocessor electronic systems of diagnostics and control, improvement of tribological properties of lubricants.
