Dissertation topic: “Durability of concrete and reinforced concrete in water-saturated structures: Colloid-chemical bases”, scientific consultant – winner of the State Prizes of the USSR and Ukraine, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, DSc, Prof V.I. Babusnkin

Direction of scientific activity: development of theoretical and experimental bases of composition, structure, properties, destruction, corrosion, durability, technology of concrete and reinforced concrete, restoration of operational properties and protection of structures of railway track, constructions, buildings.

Author of over 400 scientific papers and educational and methodological developments. He has 27 patents for inventions. Has prepared 8 Candidates of Sciences (PhD), 1 Doctor of Philosophy doctor  (PhD) and 2 Doctors of Sciences (DSc).

Research area: improvement of energy efficiency of marshalling devices, study of electrocorrosive effects on railway structures and buildings.

Nadia Murygina

In 2000, graduated from the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport and received the qualification of economist-manager. In 2015, received her second degree at the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport and received the qualification of railway construction engineer, specializing in “Railway structures and track management”.

The direction of scientific activity: increasing the resource and durability of the bridge web of railway bridges.
